Cathedral Houses the Mausoleum of General San Martín who is considered the liberator of Argentina.

Mausoleum of General San Martín. While under the same roof as the mausoleum once you step over the line it is outside of church grounds (according to the tour we were on).
Casa Rosada - Government building which is the official residence of the president.

Buenos Aires has an abundace of beautiful parks. It's design was largely influenced by the desire to imitate Paris.

A park or for that matter a street corner without a statue commemorating someone is hard to find in the city.
El Caminito. Neighbourhood in Buenos Aires which inspired the music for the famous Tango Caminito. Dance steps to follow.

Buebos Aires city cemetary. More stories than I can recount in pictures. Supposedly if you rub the dog's nose it brings you good luck, As you can see it's not easy to be interred here. This is the only tomb that has pet remains that weren't cremated. A story for another time.
The cross you see is a Masonic cross (crooked). The cemetary was once on Catholic grounds but due to the economic influence of the current Masonic inhabitants that has been rescinded.
As the story goes this is the tomb of a husband and wife. He was well off and she spent his money on many things. He got tired of this and cut off her credit (not cards - with the city vendors). She never spoke to him again but they lived together until his death some 20yrs later. They are now seated facing away from each other forever.

The cemetary takes up quite a few NYC blocks.
